
Originally started as something to do while Greg wasn't able to appear, people wanted to see more of Jirard and Alex sequence breaking through the game as their 6th playthrough. "You didn't save the aliens" / "Don't forget to save the aliens" / "SAVE THE ALIENS!". This has sparked a Running Joke on both Super Beard Bros. Unfortunately, Jirard Khalil forgot to save the aliens at the end of the game and as such, to many, he didn't complete the game (Jirard still considers it completed). Control customization and upgrades are also praised. Jirard praises the way the game takes advantage of the Super Nintendo's capabilities to make a more foreboding atmosphere and soundtrack. Jirard Khalil set out to not only complete the game, but beat it in under 3 hours fully completed.

It was later released on youtube on January 30th, 2012. Super Metroid was originally reviewed on The Completionist as the debut episode on on January 20th, 2012.
